Dear (insert representative’s name)
I am a constituent in your District and I want to bring an issue to your attention. I am involved with the Seller Finance industry, an industry that creates thousands of jobs and provides high quality housing to many.
In the coming days, Representative Roger Williams (TX) will introduce if he has not already, the Seller Finance Regulation Reduction Act of 2015. This regulation-reducing legislation is aimed at addressing the unneccessary and overly burdensome federal regulations that threaten the survival of the seller finance industry. The Seller Finance Regulation and Reduction Act would relieve seller-financers from the unintended consequences stemming from both the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Licensing (SAFE) Act and the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection (Dodd-Frank) Act.
As your constituent, I am asking that you support the bill by signing on as a cosponsor. Please contact Representative Roger Williams’ office to do so. If you have any questions, please contact the Seller Finance Coalition, attention Jim Hilk, at 202-506-2061, or visit www.SellerFinanceCoalition.org.
